Fees for Customer-Direct Orders to HyperSKU

Learn why a handling fee applies to Customer-Direct Orders and how it impacts your fulfillment process.

HyperSKU offers flexibility for sellers who prefer to send their own products to our warehouse through Customer-Direct Orders (also known as self-purchase restock). To maintain smooth and accurate inbound processing, a handling fee of $0.25 per unit is applied to these orders starting July 18, 2025

What are Customer-Direct Orders?

Customer-Direct Orders refer to cases where inventory is sent directly to HyperSKU’s warehouse by you or your supplier, rather than being sourced through HyperSKU. This typically applies to self-purchased or pre-arranged inventory.

If your situation differs, our team will be happy to provide further guidance.

Why is there a handling fee?

Unlike products sourced by HyperSKU, Customer-Direct Orders require additional manual effort for receiving, inspecting, sorting, and stocking. This handling fee helps cover the operational cost to ensure a timely and accurate inbound process.

How is the fee calculated?

The handling fee is calculated based on the total number of product units in the order.
Formula: 0.25 USD × Number of product units

Example: An inbound order with 10 products will incur a $2.50 handling fee.

How is the fee charged?

The fee will be added to your order cost and visible in your transaction summary.

Does this affect regular sourcing orders?

No. This fee applies only to Customer-Direct Orders. Orders placed using HyperSKU’s product sourcing service are not affected.
